In-Between Seasons

In-Between Seasons

Today was an absolutely beautiful day!
We hit a sunny high of 65 and it was hard to remember the almost foot of snow we had
nearly a week ago.Crazy weather!

I'll take this sunshine anyday. Lately I can't get enough of running with my sweet dog Copper.
When the sun is out and it is above freezing we are hitting the pavement, these yoga pants are perfect to keep me warm and cool at the same time.

In the morning it is still cool so a fleece jacket is all I need instead of all the layers.
Reguradless of the season I love wearing dresses, with a cute pair of leggings (preferably fleece lined) they make going from winter to spring just right.

Today was the first day back after a long six day snow break
So nice to be back in the swing of things.
Hope you had a great Tuesday and got to enjoy a break in snow too!

Make-Up Find

Okay, I've been debating with myself if I should buy the Urban Decay Naked eye shadow or not. I love make-up and like one of my 5th graders love to try and play with new finds.
I don't mind spending more on my powder or a good BB cream but $50+ for eye shadow is way more that I usually spend. Most of my eye shadows are from Victoria Secret and I absolutely love them!
Saturday at Target I came across this gem:

This is the Physician Formulas Nude pallet. It is amazing and all the earthy browns I love plus a great light shimmer.

It was $10 at Target and worth every penny! So glad I waited and didn't splurge!
Thought I would share this great deal with all my make-up loving blogging friends!

Dreaming of {Spring}

Dreaming of {Spring}
Well it's back to the "Artic Vortex" here in Tennessee and it scored me another day off tomorrow!!!
So excited and working on a personal blog piece for tomorrow.
Luck have it I called my salon in the random one in a million chance that my stylist would have an opening tomorrow and she does. I'm really looking forward to some inches off and updated highlights!

With all this cold weather and blast of snow showers we randomly get I'm longing for Spring.
Yesterday was near 60 degrees here without a cloud in the sky and tonight is in the single digits.
I'm looking forward to painted toes and dresses, pretty touches of pink, and all the feminine goodness that comes with Spring!

Here are a few of my favorites that I'm longing to pull into my everyday life!

January Love List {Must Haves}

January Love List {Must Haves}

With majority of us waiting out the cold my list reflects the current coldness and my love to feel cozy!

1// I'm obsessed with tumblers. I love Tervis because they can be hot and cold. Not to mention come in tons of cute styles. They are great for my favorite iced coffee or for a yummy drink on the lake. Never can have enough tumblers!

2// Okay, this make-up is all the rage. I love make-up. Alot! I've yet to fork our the $50 bucks or so for eye shadow but the more I read about it the more I'm considering it. I need to know if it is worth it or not?! I think I might even like the second one better than the third. Is it worth the splurge?

3//Warm, fuzzy, cozy socks. I have the cold feet of a 90 year old all year. Socks like this just make me so happy. And warm!

4// With a yummy drink, cozy socks, and comfy PJ pants I think I just might be in heaven. This is my regular nightly outfit and it is something I look forward to after dinner.

5// The Keurig is tied with my mixer of favorite gadgets ever. I'm big on a clear and clean counter top but this single serve is one of  my morning necessities. Doughnut Shop is my fav!

December Favorites

December Favorites

This cool and often rainy weather we are having makes me want to be cozy!
The Clearasonic is amazing and helps with my dry skin this time of year.
Peppermint mocha, ahhh is anything more delicious?
Never can have enough EOS.
As necessary as fashionable, a scarf and beanie are some of my favorites!

Do you have any cold weather must-haves?
I'd love to hear about them!

In the moment {MUST} haves...

Today has had snow flurries and we are cuddling down with lots of cozy favorites!

Here is a new body was I recently tried and I'm in love with the soft,warm scent!
I usually stick to hand soap and candles when I roam the yummy shelves of Bath and Body works but this is a new favorite and a total must have!
Cashmere Glow Shower Gel - Signature Collection - Bath & Body Works

I've heard a lot about the Elf brand of makeup. I'm a total cosmetics hoarder so I couldn't help myself when I saw this at Target for only $6! This powder is wonderful and leaves my skin feeling so smooth.

e.l.f. High Definition Powder - Translucent

This time of year I tend to wear boots day in and day out. I love that they keep my warm and I love them with a dress and leggings. Sometimes, my feet need a boot break.
This is where these cute little flats do the trick!

Women's Merona® Mae Ballet Flat - Grey
Tonight it is in the low twenties in Tennessee and since it has been so nice and sunny lately this cold snap is a shock to us. Therefore a cozy blanket is essential!

In the moment {must} haves!

I enjoy my other bloggers "love" list and decided to create one myself.
Here a few things that I simply can't get enough of:

Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin 6 oz. Mason Jar Candle - Slatkin & Co. - Bath & Body Works
On my word, this candle smells amazing and makes the house seem so cozy and yummy.
The perfect November candle!

My skin tends to be dry majority of the time, but this time of year it is super dry.
This awesome lotion I spray on as soon as I towel off out of the shower and it is not oily and I love the lite scent. Leaves my skin so smooth, helps me to enjoy the fleece leggings more!

EOS Organic Lip Balm Sphere - Summer Fruit
I didn't try the EOS lip balm till this past month and I must say I understand what all the fuss is about.
This stuff if amazing and leaves your lips so silky and is perfect for protecting your lips against the cool wind.
Most certainly a must have for my purse...and coat...and desk....and car...and nightstand...

Crock-Pot® Stainless Steel Slow Cooker - 5 qt.
Two things I love here:
1. I love my Crock Pot for obvious reasons.
2. I love getting/sharing recipes, especially on blogs.
This time of year a warm soup or hot dinner can really hit the spot on a cool evening.
Usually the clean up is simple and the meal delicious.
(Both important)
